 About

This is not a unique idea, and we didn't come up with it.

We just like to crochet, and give back.

  Want To Get Involved?

Amazing! It's Easy

Crochet, knit, or sew some outerwear. Make a note letting people know it's not lost, but that it was made for them (or you can download a template here and just print them).

Attach the note to the item, and place the item in a location someone in need is likely to find it: Parks, near shelters, TTC stations, busy intersections, financial districts, city-run spaces. etc.

Alternatively, contact local shelters and outreach offices and ask if they are looking for donations. In the cold months they are always looking for socks scarves, hats, mittens, sweaters and more.

For a list of Toronto shelters, click here.

But Where?

To see a google sheet of where and when items are being left, please click here. If you leave items, and can take the time to update the sheet, please do so!

Anyone with the link can edit the sheet. Please feel free to add other cities in separate sheets.

Note: This isn't an organized group, and the accuracy of the spreadsheet is unknown.
